Every year on Anzac Day, Australia and New Zealand gather at dawn to recognise the many service men and women who have dedicated their lives for us.
This year as Anzac Day approaches, Global Manufacturing Group took a moment to reflect and recognise our Anzacs during the creation of two “proud, but dignified commemorative installations.”
Following a generous bequest by a local Maryborough RSL Member, Douglas Smith, former employee of Global Manufacturing Group- Bradley Geck, and Sub-Branch then President, Alan Miller, designed and created these benches in honour of our fallen.
These “handsome masterpieces” sit in their place at the main entry to the local RSL and form another part of the Maryborough Military Trail.
Global Manufacturing Group continues to support and recognise those that have dedicated their lives to our country, and as a result, this coming Monday April 25th 2022, will be closed for Anzac day. We will take this time to honour and commemorate the returned and serving service men and women.
Normal trading hours will resume Tuesday, 26th of April, 2022.
